One of the best things about our beach houses is their location. Only 2.5 hours from either Sydney or Canberra, the houses are nestled amongst the trees and surrounded by wildlife so you’ll feel like you’re miles away from the every day. In fact, the sleepy village of Myola has only two streets.

That said, you only need to drive 5-10 minutes to Callala Bay to reach a collection of local shops including a well-stocked IGA supermarket with ATM, bottle shop, bakery and chemist.

The Husky Ferry is at the end of the road offering a 10 minute voyage to Huskisson (spring/summer/autumn), where you'll find the famous Husky Pub, restaurants and cafes, a collection of cute boutiques, and the Huskisson Pictures cinema.

Myola Beach with its long stretch of white sand and turquoise water is a 10 minute stroll from the retreat, and there is a walking/cycling track between Myola and Callala Beach.

to do

Metta and Myaree are a haven of tranquility and the perfect setting to do nothing but unwind, relax and rejuvenate surrounded by forest, birds and native wildlife.

Should you be feeling more adventurous, you can hit the beach and forest.

The location is perfect for dolphin and whale watching (with a resident pod of dolphins on our beach), stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, kite surfing, diving, snorkeling and legendary fishing.

There's hiking and biking in surrounding forest and coastal trails with plenty of native wildlife including kangaroos,

possums and echidnas.

Jump in your car to travel further afield to towns like Berry (boutiques and markets), Nowra (extensive shopping),
as well as local wineries and stunning National Parks.

What a beautiful space and location. You feel as though you are in the forest. Stunning walks next to the beach. Multiple spaces to relax in. It was perfect for two families. Loved Arnold’s coffee van within walking distance. Husky ferry provided easy transport across the water. Myola beach perfect. Clear water white sand. Felt like our own private beach.Even saw dolphins. An absolute hidden gem.
