There is so much to see and do in and around the Myola Beach Houses. Here are some ideas to inspire you for a stay over a three day weekend and to help make the most of your time here. But don’t feel limited to only stay for a long weekend, once you're there you'll want to stay longer.

Kylie's itinerary

RECOMMENDED ITINENERY

Kylie is an adventure seeker. Her ideal itinerary for a perfect long weekend is action packed.

 

Friday 

  • Leave work early and arrive as the sun is setting to see kangaroos grazing on the grass near the back deck

  • Mix with the locals for dinner in Callala Bay or open some wine at home and get pizza delivered.

 

 

Saturday 

  • Wake up to the sound of birds chirping outside your window

  • After breakfast bike ride along the paved paths of Myola Road towards Callala Bay, or down the local streets amongst the giant ferns alongside Currambene Creek to the boat launch and beyond

  • After lunch take a 30 minute drive and enjoy a dip at beautiful Honeymoon Bay. While there visit the historic Point Perpendicular Lighthouse and look for whales off the coast

  • Prepare dinner together in the spacious kitchen while sipping wine and enjoying good conversation

 

Sunday 

  • Wake early for a walk or run down to Myola Beach and an early morning dip in the ocean where you’re likely to enjoy the beach all to yourself

  • Return to enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the back deck

  • Wander down to the Husky Ferry where Captain Dave will keep you entertained for the 10 minute journey to Huskisson

  • Peruse the many shops and enjoy lunch at the World Famous Fish N Chips on Owen Street before boarding your boat for a 2hr dolphin watching or sunset tour

 

Monday  

  • Hire stand up paddle boards from Myola Paddle Board Hire on the nearby creek

  • Take a leisurely afternoon drive home stopping at Berry to enjoy an early dinner

Nicole's itinerary

Nicole is looking forward to getting away from the city for the weekend.

Her ideal itinerary for a perfect long weekend is full of nature, good food and culture.

 

Friday 

  • Gather the tribe and drive out of Sydney. Stop at Stanwell Tops to take in the spectacular clifftop scenery and historic Berry to enjoy some boutique shopping

  • Arrive at Myola and fire up the BBQ. Enjoy dinner on the deck and an evening of star gazing 

 

Saturday​

  • Head out for a day of good food and wine. Choose from favourites like Two Figs Winery (40 mins) and Cupitt’s winery, brewery and fromagerie (1 hour)

  • Arrive back in Myola for sunset. Enjoy the view while you throw in a fishing line in Currambene Creek

 

Sunday

  • Ride the bikes to Myola Beach and watch the sunrise over the ocean, keeping a look out for the local pod of dolphins

  • Drive to Bundanon Trust (1 hour) and peruse nearly 4000 artworks, including 1300 by Arthur Boyd, and many others by Sidney Nolan, John Perceval, Joy Hester and Charles Blackman

  • Cook a feast for the tribe and enjoy an evening of board games and movies

 

Monday

  • Catch the ferry to Huskisson (10 mins) and enjoy a leisurely breakfast at one of the many local cafes

  • Take a dip at secluded Myola Beach and gather a few shells to take home with you

  • Put on some good tunes for the drive back to the city, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated
